Is the quote free?
Yes. Send the details on the form and we'll come back with an itemised quote.
How do I book?
Accept your quote and pay the deposit. Your date is secured once the deposit is in.
When is the balance due?
Your quote and our turf laying terms set out when the balance is due.
Can I send photos?
Yes, please. After you send the form you can upload photos straight away, or send them on WhatsApp.
The ground
Why does my new-build garden need preparation?
Plots are often finished with a thin layer of soil over clay that's been compacted during the build. Without breaking it up, water sits on top and roots can't get down.
What if you find rubble under the surface?
Surface rubble is part of normal preparation. Larger amounts found buried are priced separately and agreed with you before we carry on.
Do you bring topsoil?
Yes, where it's needed. It's listed as its own line on your quote.
After turf day
Do you guarantee the turf will take?
We prepare the ground and lay fresh turf properly. After that, watering makes the biggest difference, so we give you clear aftercare notes.
When can I mow it?
Usually after two to three weeks, once it's rooted. Keep the first cut high.
Do you lay artificial grass?
No. We only lay real turf.
